WOVEN WOOD AS MAUI WINDOW COVERINGS

James Ross Designs invites you into another world of Window Coverings!  A world of natural beauty.  Hand-selected bamboo, reeds, grasses and jute are prepared in combination to give unique color and contrast.  Join us and experience the natural delicate textures.

Woven Woods  are not meant to be perfect! Variations is to be expected with organic materials, a less processed material.

Natural flaws will be noticed when light shines through.  If privacy is needed, shades can be lined with light-filtering or room darkening materials

                                    Important Considerations
.  Moisture areas like baths and kitchen may cause
   shades to expand.
.  Too little moisture may cause woven wood to
shrink in size and become more brittle.
.  Ideal humidity range is 45%  to 65%
.  Care for woven woods is light vacuuming.

Architectural specialties open-up more ideas in

STYLES
Styles using woven woods are many!  Panel Track
is a unique woven wood option best used for covering larger windows such as a sliding glass door.

A Room Divider is another use for a Panel Track shade.  The open texture with light filtering enhancing the rustic beauty will add to any home or office partition.

For the "drapery flow" look, Woven Drapery is another fashionable idea.  Woven Drapery can be
"dressed-up" with valance strips, or with a Cornice

Top Down & Bottom Up  shades lower from the top to the bottom, or raise from the bottom to the top.  This is managed by having two independent functioning cord locks.

Unique pattern styles & colors are available with James Ross Designs to enhance your most trying design scheme for each Maui Window Covering!
